Renei Ngawati
Director
Renei is a Māori health leader, change-maker, and reo Māori advocate passionate about uplifting whānau through hauora, equity, and te reo.
With roots in West Auckland and a background spanning academia, workforce development, and kaupapa Māori research and project design.
Currently an independent contractor in the sport and recreation sector, she wears many pōtae. A māmā of four and champion for tino rangatiratanga, she weaves language, culture, and community into every space she works in.
A child of the Māori sport kaupapa and the Maori touch movement, she was present at the first indigenous touch tournaments in 2008 and 2010. Renei looks to contribute to the continuing legacy by supporting this roopu.
Liam Tuaiti
Creative Director
Liam is a creative producer, videographer, photographer, and founder of 280 Visuals - a storyteller with a sharp eye for indigenous excellence.
His work spans global giants like FIFA, while locally he’s crafted powerful visuals for the Tongan National Rugby League team, Auckland Rugby League, Māori Touch NZ, Touch New Zealand, Pacific Cup, and more.
Renowned for capturing the heart of native stories, Liam now joins our operations team as Creative Director for the Indigenous Touch World Cup.
